I am pleased to report that we remain Covid-19 free at both Emerald Hill and South Port and with community spread seemingly under control, and the lifting of some restrictions, we are all starting to feel like we can breathe again. Coupled with the hint of spring in the air we are justified in beginning to feel a bit optimistic.
Regarding visits, the following options are now available:
Outdoor visits – it is still my preference that visitors utilise this style of visiting. The booking system is available online or by phoning reception.
Room visits (1 household per visit) – we ask that you or your family phone reception and book these; we need to keep an eye on the number of people coming in and out of the building.
Lionshare Café visits (1 household per visit) – we ask that you phone reception to book these visits; we need to manage the number of people coming in and out of the café.
Local area walks – I know there is high demand for this and it’s now time for this to happen. Please phone reception and let us know if you are planning to do this. You and your visitor will need to wear a mask.
Leaving Emerald Hill or South Port – cafes other than Lionshare, to family members’ homes etc. Please speak with our Clinical Services Manager, Maricar Carew, about this. Each request for this will be risk assessed on its own merit for now.
Please remember all visitors must wear a mask when visiting, hand hygiene, social distancing, and must undertake the screening as well as the declaration on arrival.
