Circuit Breaker Lockdown – Visitor Restrictions

Acting Premier James Merlino announced this morning a hard lockdown across Victoria for 7 days, which commences at 11.59pm Thursday 27 May 2021 and will conclude at 11:59pm 3 June . As during previous lockdowns this means there will be increased restrictions of visitors to residential aged care facilities. 

Visitor restrictions for care facilities: 

• No visitors are permitted into aged care or other residential facility settings, except for end-of-life reasons.

• Non-essential contractors are restricted from entry.
