On Tuesday 25th October 2016 CaSPA Care held its 6th AGM. The meeting was held at Claremont Home in the old dining room and lounge area. The meeting was attended by over 45 people, members of CaSPA Care, interested community members and family members. It was great to see so many familiar faces.
Lyn Allison, Chairperson of CaSPA Care Board led the proceedings for the evening delivering the Chairpersons report. Lyn noted what a fantastic and busy year it had been for the organisation.
Following Lyn’s address the audited financial accounts were presented by our Treasurer Richard Gates and adopted by the membership.
Retiring directors Tony Hill, David Gorman, Richard Gates and Cr Bernadene Voss were re-elected for a further three years.
Our annual staff awards which were voted on by staff and residents were presented by our CEO Stephanie Clark to the following staff:

Lyn concluded the evening acknowledging those who have supported our organisation over the past year:
- The Edwards Foundation – generous donation of $5,000
- Elderly Citizens Help Organisation – their tin rattling efforts
- Rotary Club of Melbourne – provide ongoing support for staff training
- Aged Persons Welfare Foundation – grant received for $10,905 for and iPad program
- The Marian & E.H. Flack Trust – grant received for $10,000 for a music therapy program
After the meeting, all enjoyed drinks and delicious finger food provided by our catering department.
