There are currently no limits on the purpose of visits, the number of visitors or the length of the visit and CaSPA Care are not imposing any additional restrictions. Please remain vigilant about masks, social distancing, hand washing and limit your visits to the resident’s room, the café, or the gardens. It really is lovely to see visitors returning to our services and I’d like to thank you for your understanding and cooperation when visiting was suddenly restricted on New Years’ Eve.

Some key points from DHHS to note are as follows:    

• People of any age can visit people in care facilities.
• Visitors to any care facility across Victoria must wear a face mask while in an indoor space.
• Any visitor who is unwell or is waiting for a coronavirus (COVID-19) test result should not visit care facilities.

Covid-19 VACCINE

Please note we do not yet have any details on when the Covid-19 vaccine will be rolled out for staff or residents, and are yet to receive any information on what will be required for visitors to residential aged care. We will keep you updated as we receive further information, in the meantime you can find the latest information about COVID-19 vaccines on the Department of Health website: health.gov.au/covid19-vaccines.

Online Resident and Families Meetings

We will be holding an online resident and families meeting for South Port on February 11 at 5:30pm and for Emerald Hill on February 18 at 5:30pm.  

The meetings will be live streamed via zoom webinar – all you need to do is register using the link below and you will be able to watch the meeting from the comfort of your home using either a computer or mobile device/tablet with an internet connection. As a part of the registration we encourage you to submit any questions you have in regards to CaSPA Care and we will address these during the meeting. Please note questions about individual care will be answered privately and not as part of the webinar event.
